LiveOak Fiber will work with your community to make the following process as easy and seamless as possible. We are committed to transparency and will share as much information as possible so there are no surprises along the way.
1. We contact your HOA.
First, we’ll need to get in touch with someone with your HOA so we can start the process. This can be a board member, community association manager (CAM), or a contact with your property management company.
2. We present to HOA board members.
A LiveOak Fiber representative will come and give a thorough presentation on our company, our fiber internet, and the installation process. We will show pictures of each step of the construction process and answer any questions.
3. HOA/Community votes.
Depending on your HOA bylaws, either the HOA board or all the homeowners will vote to approve LiveOak Fiber in the community.
4. Installation begins.
Once approved, we will begin the process by drafting a network plan specific to your community. This plan includes where the conduit, fiber, vaults, and flower pots will be buried. We will include your HOA president in this step to ensure our plan will work for your community. While construction work is a necessary part of building a new fiber network, we strive to minimize disruption for the residents.
5. Residents choose fiber internet plans.
Homeowners who want fiber internet can choose from one of our residential plans. If your community has one provider that’s included in a bulk utilities cost, we will work with your HOA board to determine the best plan offering for your community.
