Two Times the Flavor, One Powerful Mission: LiveOak Locale Heads to Papa’s Smokehouse in Niceville

On June 19, LiveOak Fiber will partner with Papa’s Smokehouse in Niceville for a flavorful double feature. As part of our LiveOak Locale initiative, we’ll be on-site during lunch and dinner service, offering $15 food vouchers to guests who scan our QR code. Choose your adventure; swing by between 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM for lunch or between 4:30 PM and 6:30 PM to scan and take home dinner. Vouchers are good while supplies last and must be redeemed by 7 PM.

Papa’s Smokehouse is more than a local BBQ joint. It is the legacy of Jim Wells, a man whose heart has always been committed to service. Jim wanted to serve his country in uniform, first after high school and again after 9/11, but God had other plans. Instead, he served his community for over 30 years as a dedicated nurse, showing up daily with compassion and care. When it came time to turn the page, Jim teamed up with his son Colby to open Papa’s Smokehouse just over a year ago.

You’ll find Jim at the shop most mornings by 5:15 AM, no shortcuts, just consistency, quality, and care. Papa’s is everything LiveOak Locale stands for: local ownership, neighborly service, and a passion for doing things the right way.
