As a LiveOak Fiber customer, no matter which residential plan you choose, you gain access to the LiveOak Fiber App, a premier internet application that allows you to completely customize the WiFi in your home. From parental controls and cyber controls to usage reports and cyber protection, you can now make your internet fit your lifestyle.
WiFi The Way You Want It
The LiveOak Fiber app focuses on three elements: People, Places, and Things.
- People: the internet users in your home.
- Places: the areas in your home where the internet is used.
- Things: your devices.
Within the app, you have the ability to create profiles for all your internet users, assign devices to each, and define areas in your home. You can then tailor the WiFi experience by person, place, or thing by:
- Setting time limits or schedules.
- Filtering content or restricting websites.
- Setting bandwidth priorities to certain devices or people.
You can also see usage reports and statistics per device, person, or area, as well as monitor web threats, intrusions, and blocked viruses.

To download the LiveOak Fiber App, simply search “LiveOak Fiber” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
To set up your WiFi and App, watch the video or follow the below instructions:
- Open the App and click “Let’s Get Started” at the bottom of the screen.
- On the next screen, click the Sign Up link on the bottom.
- Fill out the registration form with your information and create a password.
- Plug your new system into the internet.
- Once the system is on, scan the QR code on the bottom or side panel of your system. Or you can enter the MAC Address and Serial Number of the plate.
- A scan will begin and may take 15-20 seconds to complete.
- If you are setting up WiFi with this system for the first time, you will need to name your network and create your WiFi password.
That’s it! You’re now ready for the Premium WiFi Experience.
