Event: Sinfonia Gulf Coast presents Holiday Pops featuring The Broadway Boys

Venue: Destin-Fort Walton Beach Convention Center, 1250 Miracle Strip Pkwy SE, Fort Walton Beach, FL 32548

• A pops concert is the orchestra off its formal footing: full symphony, popular material, arrangements built for a room that came to have a good time. Holiday Pops is the December version, and for most families in this area it is the night that starts the season.

• The Broadway Boys are a group of male vocalists pulled from the New York stage, with credits across Hamilton, Wicked, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, Book of Mormon, Les Misérables, and Hadestown.

• What they do is take musical theater and holiday standards and rebuild them with pop, gospel, and soul arrangements. Familiar songs, unfamiliar treatment.

• Ten seats in one unbroken row. Whoever wins sits together.

• Bring the people you would want beside you in December.
