Richard Shea

Rich Shea serves as Chief Operating Officer of LiveOak Fiber and brings more than 27 years of broadband telecommunications leadership experience spanning engineering, network operations, technology, and executive management. Throughout his career, he has led large-scale residential and business broadband operations, supported strategic acquisitions, and driven operational excellence for both emerging and established telecommunications providers.

Prior to joining LiveOak Fiber, Rich served as CEO of Atlantic Broadband, where he led one of the nation’s largest broadband providers and oversaw significant growth initiatives, including the acquisition and integration of multiple telecommunications companies. He has also held executive leadership roles at LOGIX Fiber Networks, Astra Capital Management, Grande Communications, and Broadband Applications Management, with responsibilities spanning operations, technology, network engineering, and business transformation.

Rich holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Boston University. He served as a Combat Engineer Officer in the U.S. Army, achieving the rank of Captain before transitioning to the telecommunications industry.
