Shane Schilling
Chief Operating Officer
Shane Schilling brings strong leadership, telecom operations, technical skills, and a lot of energy to the LiveOak team. He has experience building all aspects of a telecommunications network, from managing the routers/switches to configuring its back office servers and software stacks.
Shane joined LiveOak Fiber in April of 2023. He has held several Chief Technology Officer roles, where he gained experience leading core networking, all back office systems, Corporate IT, Cyber Security, Fiber Construction, and Service Delivery.
Shane holds a Bachelor’s degree in software development and is a certified full stack developer from the University of Texas. He’s completed the Thayer Executive Leadership Program at West Point and the Executive Management Program at the MIT Sloan School of Business.
Originally from southern Mississippi, Shane spent 13 years living in the western Pennsylvania area before settling in Austin, TX in 2009. In his free time, he enjoys listening to live music and spending time with friends and family.
Shane loves being part of the LiveOak team because of the company’s lean-in approach to internet speeds and services for the communities it services.
