Steve Smith

With over 25 years of executive telecom sales leadership experience, Steve specializes in building, leading and inspiring performance-driven teams across key functional areas, including sales, marketing, sales operations, product development and corporate development. Before joining LiveOak as Chief Revenue Officer, he held key sales and marketing positions at Ritter Communications, SwiftReach, General Telecom, Apex and Qwest.

Steve’s accomplishments include developing and launching the go-to-market plan for an award-winning FTTx project with 250,000 passings. He also founded a statewide network consortium RasorNET to build a middle mile-fiber network to serve 250+ communities and created over $3 million in annual revenues for its member companies.

He and Jody Craft, president of LiveOak Fiber, co-founded Ronin Technology Advisors in 2015 to help FTTx Service Provider owners and executives develop and execute successful business plans.
